Supported Formats

• PDF — the only supported format currently

Both vector PDFs (exported from CAD software) and raster/scanned PDFs are supported. Vector PDFs generally produce better extraction accuracy.

Tips for Best Quality

• Export from CAD whenever possible — vector PDFs preserve text clarity at any zoom
• Scan at 200+ DPI if you're working from paper drawings
• Avoid heavily annotated pages — handwritten markups over instrument bubbles reduce accuracy
• Split large document sets into batches of 50-100 pages for faster processing
• Standard page sizes (A1, A3, Letter, Tabloid) work best

What Counts as a Page Credit?

Every page in your PDF uses one credit, including:

• P&ID drawing pages
• Title blocks and cover pages
• Legend pages
• Blank pages

Credits are deducted after processing completes successfully. If processing fails, credits are not deducted.
